The Zibina Fraser Adams Scholarship Fund primarily supports students from J.E. Burnham, Belladrum, Rama Krishna, Stella Maris and Wakenaam Primary Schools.
Mission Statement
The Zibina Fraser Adams Scholarship Fund is an initiative dedicated to supporting excellence in the educational development of Guyana’s youth at the primary and early secondary school level through financial scholarships and mentorship. The ultimate aim of the Fund is to increase the fairness and inclusivity of access to educational opportunities in Guyana.
The Fund is positioned as a beacon towards the future to assist students from a multicultural backgrounds to reach their projected goals in the areas of law, government, sciences and entrepreneurship.
2019 – 2020
Teachers at J.E. Burnham Primary and Belladrum Primary Schools selected a group of grade 6 students. Finalists were largely influenced by grade six assessment results. Additionally integrated into the general scholarship was a Special Education Needs Initiative.
2020 – 2021
Students from Grade 5 – 7 were issued scholarships and educational packages.
